What a HydraFacial costs by tier

HydraFacial is sold in three tiers. Signature is the base treatment; Deluxe adds a booster serum and Platinum adds lymphatic drainage and LED. Most people come back about once a month.

What changes the price of a HydraFacial

  • The tier. Boosters, lymphatic drainage and LED are what separate Signature, Deluxe and Platinum, and they account for most of the price range.
  • Add-on boosters. Clinics price specialty serums separately, so two Deluxe treatments at different clinics may not include the same booster.
  • Packages. Buying three in advance brings the per-visit price down, for example three Signature treatments for $550.
  • The setting. A medical clinic and a day spa can charge similar prices for the same device; the price says more about the clinic's market than about the treatment.

If you run a clinic

HydraFacial is a repeat treatment, so the money is in the second, third and twelfth visit. Price a monthly membership or a package of three, and book the next visit before the client leaves.

Tier pricing works when the menu explains the difference in plain words. If clients can't tell Deluxe from Platinum, most will pick the cheapest.
