Charts (Clinical Notes)

Patient → Record → Visit Hierarchy
Zdrovia organizes clinical care around patients, service lines, services and visits. Understanding this model is essential: almost every feature attaches to one of these levels.
Patient Instructions
Reusable pre and post-appointment instructions: written once, attached to a service, and delivered to the patient in their portal, by message, or embedded in your own site.
Patient Portal
The patient-facing side of Zdrovia: booking, messages, documents, journals, invoices, insurance and a clinic shop, all under one patient login at /portal.
Patient Management
The Patients section is the hub for all patient records in your clinic. Search patients, create new ones, and work from a profile dashboard you arrange yourself.
Payments & Payouts
Connect a payment account and take money at the till, at checkout, from an invoice link, or as a booking deposit, then track payouts, documents, tips and sales tax.
Reviews
Ratings and comments patients leave after a visit, attributed to the visit and the practitioner who provided it.
Rooms & Services
Rooms define your physical clinic spaces. Services are what patients book, each with its own price, duration, paperwork, booking rules, deposit and tax treatment.
Schedule
A calendar view of every appointment at your clinic: day, week and month views, drag-to-reschedule, working hours, recurring appointments and a waitlist.
Smart Blocks
Smart Blocks are structured fields you drop into a clinical note: vitals, pain scores, range of motion, body diagrams, questionnaires. What you record in them is data, so it logs and graphs.
Staff, Commissions & Tips
Manage practitioners whether or not they have a login, let them work a shared terminal with a PIN, and track what they have earned in commission and tips.
Storefront, Packages & Promotions
Sell online: list inventory products in a patient-facing shop, bundle sessions and gift cards into packages, and run codes, private links and automatic offers against them.
Telehealth & Files
Run remote consultations over embedded video, and attach, annotate and share documents and images across patients, records and visits.
Treatments & Service Lines
A service line is the record a patient's visits, charts and forms hang off. Most of the time it looks after itself: creating a service creates its line, and you only reach for one when several services genuinely share one course of care.
Visits
A visit is a single appointment or encounter on a patient's record. It holds that appointment's forms, dispensed stock, telehealth session and files.

Frequently asked questions.
How do I migrate my patient data from my current EHR?
Export your data from your existing system (we support CSV exports from Jane, Cliniko, and most major EHRs) and send the file to your onboarding rep. We handle the import for you free of charge, subject to the size and complexity of the export; small, clean exports are usually live within a day or two, and larger or unusual data sets are scoped with you first. Self-serve import tools are available at any time.
Is Zdrovia PIPEDA compliant?
Yes. Zdrovia is built for Canadian privacy law - all patient data is stored on Canadian servers and handled under PIPEDA. Our infrastructure uses AES-256-GCM encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Zdrovia is built for Canadian practices, and we do not sign Business Associate Agreements at this time.
Can multiple clinicians share one Zdrovia account?
Absolutely. You can invite an unlimited number of team members. Each person gets their own login with configurable role-based permissions. Your admin sees scheduling but not clinical notes, for example.
Does Zdrovia work on mobile?
Zdrovia is a web application optimised for desktop use in a clinical setting. It works in mobile browsers, but we recommend a tablet or laptop for the best experience. Native iOS and Android apps are on our roadmap.
What happens to my data if I decide to leave?
Your data is always yours. You can export a full data archive at any time from Settings → Data Export. We provide your data in structured CSV and PDF formats within 24 hours of a request.
How does the AI note assistant work?
Zdrovia's note assistant uses voice dictation or typed input to generate a structured SOAP note draft. You review and edit the draft before saving. The AI never saves or sends data outside your account, all processing is done securely on our infrastructure.
