Mangomint or Zdrovia
The questions we get asked most, answered straight.
Is Mangomint a good product?▾
Yes, and it has earned its reputation. The interface is fast, the two-way texting works, and the front desk flows are better thought through than most of what is sold to spas. If you have used it and liked it, that reaction is reasonable.
Then why would I move?▾
Two reasons, and neither is about polish. The first is price: $165 to start and $375 at ten providers, against $0 to start and $149 flat. The second is the clinical record. Mangomint is spa operations software with notes attached. If you inject, you need lot numbers, expiry dates, versioned consent and a chart that holds up as a medical document.
What does lot tracking actually change day to day?▾
Most days, very little. You scan or type a lot number when a vial comes in and the software does the rest, picking the oldest stock first and warning you before anything expires. The day it matters is the day a manufacturer issues a recall, when the difference is one query against a year of appointment history.
Do you take a percentage of my memberships?▾
Yes, the same all-in card rate applies to membership charges as everything else: 4% + 30¢ on Free, dropping to 3.5% on Pro and 3% on Team. It never disappears entirely, but it does get smaller the more of your revenue recurs through us.
What is the catch with the free plan?▾
The 4%, and that is the whole catch — no separate gateway fee stacked underneath it. Once you clear roughly $15,800 a month in card bookings, Pro at $79 plus its lower 3.5% rate costs you less than staying on Free, so the app tells you when moving makes financial sense rather than waiting for you to notice.
Can you import from Mangomint?▾
Send us a client and appointment export and our team does the import by hand. That is slower than a wizard and considerably more reliable with messy data. It is free while we are in beta, and turnaround depends on the size of the file.
