What changes the price of a chemical peel
- Depth. Superficial glycolic, lactic, mandelic and salicylic peels sit at the bottom of the range. Medium-depth TCA peels cost more and need more downtime.
- The brand. Professional lines such as ZO and AlumierMD are priced higher than a clinic's own peel.
- Packages. A course bought up front is usually discounted, for example three peels for $400.
- Who performs it. Superficial peels are often done by aestheticians; medium-depth peels need more training and sometimes a medical setting.
