Why a facial needs a record
A facial feels low-risk, but it is a series of decisions: which acids or serums, how long, how many extractions, what was applied at the end. When a client has a reaction three days later, or a great result they want to repeat, the record is what tells you why.
Record the skin assessment at the start, the steps and products in order, and any sensitivity that appeared. Note the home-care products recommended so you can see later whether they were followed, and whether the skin responded.
