What makes a massage note useful
A good massage note records findings and treatment separately: what you palpated and observed, then what you did, including techniques, areas, pressure, and duration. That distinction is what turns a treatment log into a clinical record.
Record the client's response and anything you advised, such as hydration, stretches, or activity. If an insurer asks about a claim, or another clinician takes over care, the note should stand alone.
