Consistency is what makes a result credible

Before-and-after photos only mean something when the conditions match: same distance, same lighting, same angles, no filters. Record the device, the setting, and the views taken so the next session can reproduce them.

Record consent status alongside each set, separating clinical use from marketing use, and note where the images are stored. Photographs of patients are health information and should be handled as such.

Template from zdrovia.ca/templates/clinical-photo-log-template/ · Adapt to your college's documentation standard before use.

Chart it once, find it every visit after

Zdrovia comes with starter chart templates for aesthetics, including a neurotoxin treatment record and a laser session record, and you can adapt any of them to match this one. Fill the chart on a tablet during the treatment, or let the AI Scribe complete it from what you say out loud. Products and lots dispensed from inventory land on the same patient record, and photos attach to the visit. Free for solo practitioners, with data stored in Canada.

Frequently asked questions

Do clinical photos need consent?

Yes. Clinical use and marketing use are separate choices and should be recorded separately.

Can I use the same photo for marketing?

Only if the client consented to marketing use, and for the channels they agreed to.

This template is a documentation aid, not clinical guidance. It records decisions about dosing, depth, and settings; it doesn't make them. Documentation standards vary by province and profession, so adapt it to your regulatory college's requirements.
