Reviews

Ratings and comments patients leave after a visit, attributed to the visit and the practitioner who provided it.

After an appointment, a patient can leave a review — a rating out of five and an optional comment. Reviews land in the dashboard, attributed to the visit they are about.

Navigate to Reviews in the sidebar (/dashboard/reviews).

What a review shows

Where reviews come from

Patients leave reviews from the patient portal after a visit. There is nothing to configure — a completed visit is reviewable.

Reading them

Reviews are listed newest first. Each is tied to a real visit with a real practitioner, so a run of low ratings can be traced to a service, a time of day or a person rather than being an anonymous average.

Provider-level performance sits alongside this on Analytics under By Provider.

Tips

  • Read the comments, not just the average. A 4.2 made of fives and ones is a different clinic from a 4.2 made of fours.
  • Cross-reference a poor run against Visit Outcomes on Analytics — reviews often dip in the same weeks that cancellations spike, and the cause is usually scheduling rather than care.
  • Reach out through Messages rather than a public reply. The thread is already on the patient’s record.
